Adventure Baby Shower

When you think of the word “Adventure,” ideas of traveling and exploring and sightseeing might come to mind.  But for the soon-to-be-parents of this next party, the word “Adventure” might bear a slightly different meaning…mostly because they are pregnant with triplets!! Surely three babies at one time is going to be the best adventure and we really wanted to make sure their shower reflected that on their special day!

Before guests even entered the door, we wanted them to know they were in the right place so we created this large welcome sign and adorned it with the cutest vintage frame! We may or may not have a thing for “all things maps” so we made sure to place a few around the welcome sign for added decor.

As guests arrived, we kindly asked that they fill out an envelope with their address on it, making it easier for the mama-to-be to send out thank you cards.
We also asked guests to pick out a “baby” that they were to babysit throughout the day.  If any baby was left unattended then another guest could potentially steal their baby. This was a really fun and interactive game. The babies were kind of creepy looking but we all got a few laughs out of it!
For centerpieces we used different colored and sized globes, propped up on top of a few books. We also used different sized clear glass vases with greenery and white flowers that surrounded the globes on the tables.
We were mostly excited about all of the details that went into the dessert table! Macaroons were from Mr. Baker Finest Bakery and Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga and they were so tasty.

Finally, every guest took home a candle to light once the babies are born as a party favor.
We were so excited to be apart of this special day and can’t wait until these three little bundles of joy arrive!! Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
